Dojo has enjoyed his time with Xander and is arriving back with us next week.  He won't be there long enough to get bored though as it will soon be time for him to visit someone else. Who will it be? There is very little between the leaders and now every point counts, time to stand still, pay attention and try your hardest, and as Dojo is fond of saying..."All good things come to Bears who train hard!"

BBQ tickets

BBQ tickets are now on sale for our family fun day on Sunday 19th August. £3.50 for adults and £2.50 for children. The Free fun day also includes free classes on self defence for ladies, free karate classes, punch a black belt, soak a shodan, demonstrations and much more. You don't need to be part of the club to come along as it is open to the public. Free School Holiday Class

Haxby Shotokan Karate Club are holding a FREE Kids karate class on Friday 17th August at Wigginton Recreation Hall. Come along and learn some karate moves. 9am – 10.15am, ages 5-8 and 10.30am to 11.45am, ages 9-15 years. Booking essential. Please email info@haxbykarate.co.uk to book a place.

Awarding Dojo

It is with great pleasure, that we announce, Dojo has been awarded to Xander for his commitment and ethusiasm during the month of June.  Xander has trained with us since the beginning of Haxby Karate Kids and has never missed a session. We have been promised lots of photo's to show Dojo's travels and new experiences in the coming month, so keep watching this space!
